Coffee Candles Company was started in 2016 by two Baylor University students, William Goodrich and Tyler Bartis. They began the journey of starting Coffee Candles Co. as an experiment to gain a greater understanding of the business world since they were both studying Entrepreneurship at Baylor.
Fast-forward to 2018, Waco-residents Trey Lumley and his Father, Scott Lumley, caught on to the product and vision of the company and reached out to William and Tyler about their plans for the business. After much discussion, a decision was made and a deal struck. The Father-Son duo became the official Owner/Operators of the iconic Waco-based brand.
Scott Lumley is the President and Co-Owner of CCCo. and the Owner of the Waco Flower Tent with his Wife, Jana. They moved to Waco in 2016 primarily to conduct business in the Greater Waco area.
